Where are we Now?
Almost three years after DP Crossroads was established, major residential development continues across the peninsula.
We continue to scrutinise planning applications and infrastructure proposals and to advocate for facilities proportionate to our growing population.
Our current areas of focus include:
Ballymastone Phase 3 - ensuring infrastructure commitments keep pace with development.
Youth, Arts & Cultural Centre - continuing the campaign for a properly sized dedicated facility.
Community Space - challenging proposals that are too small for the population they are intended to serve.
Donabate Library - supporting a properly sized library while making clear that a library is not a substitute for dedicated youth, arts and cultural provision.
Infrastructure Accountability - continuing to ask what has been promised, what has been delivered and what remains outstanding.

Who are DP Crossroads
We are residents.
We are volunteers.
We are independent.
We are not politically affiliated.
We support housing.
We support investment in sports and other community facilities.
We support local groups campaigning for better infrastructure.
And we believe the rapid growth of Donabate and Portrane must be matched by investment in the facilities that make a community work.
